Original Item: Only One Available. This is a wonderful 8 Day Cockpit Clock as used by the U.S. Army Air Forces and U.S. Navy during WWII. It is marked by maker WITTNAUER, a company founded by Swiss Immigrant Albert Wittnauer. They made numerous clocks like this during WWII, which were used often in fighters such as the P-51 Mustang.
Dial is 1-7/8"and the case is made of bakelite with a short winding knob, which pulls for time adjustment. Clock runs perfectly and looks great, showing just a bit of age. It has been mounted in an aluminum bracket, probably for mounting into a cockpit, or elsewhere.
There is no warranty for this watch and returns for a non-working watch will not be honored. Please note all watches are wound and tested then recorded on video before shipment. We are not in the watch repair business - ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
